Chapter one

Building Home Base

My primary role on AIDN is UX/UI and Product Design. However, as is common in startup environments, we sometimes wear more than one hat. I used my skills and experience in marketing, design, and development to spin up this marketing site.

The Site

www.aidn.ai

The aesthetics of the marketing site build off the brand of AIDN. The overall marketing for AI-related materials was very cold and robotic. I wanted to prioritize the usefulness of AI for people while highlighting the technology itself.

Laying the Foundation

A wizard on our devOps team recommended I try out HUGO site generator for this project. I was exceedingly impressed with the simplicity, performance, and extensibility.

I was able to create an AIDN theme and pair it with our product design system.
